FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK
The Third Term has been both productive and rewarding. Our students have continued to demonstrate commendable commitment to academic excellence, discipline, leadership, and extracurricular activities. We remain focused on our mandate of providing quality education in an environment that promotes integrity, hard work, innovation, patriotism, and responsible citizenship.
As we celebrate our achievements this term, I sincerely appreciate the unwavering support of the Federal Ministry of Education, our dedicated staff, parents and guardians, the Parents-Teachers Association (PTA), the host community, and all our development partners.
Together, we shall continue to build a school where excellence is the standard, and every child is equipped for lifelong success.
TERM HIGHLIGHTS
During the third term, the College successfully carried out effective teaching and learning activities, Continuous Assessment Tests and Terminal Examinations, practical lessons in Science and Technical subjects, weekly Moral Instruction Programme, 'Sit Down and Read' Initiative, Saturday Practical Classes for Senior Secondary Students, sports and recreational activities, club and society meetings, guidance and counselling programmes, environmental sanitation exercises and functional healthcare services. These activities have contributed significantly to improving students' academic performance, discipline, and character development.
ADVISORY TO PARENTS AND GUARDIANS
Management appreciates the continuous support of parents and guardians in maintaining the high standards of the College. To ensure a safe, disciplined, and conducive learning environment, parents and guardians are kindly requested to note the following:
Discipline and Character Development
Parents and guardians should regularly engage their children and wards on the importance of good behaviour and discipline, respect for constituted authority, respect for fellow students and members of staff, good human relationships, honesty, responsibility, and integrity.
The College operates a zero-tolerance policy on all forms of bullying, intimidation, harassment, and fagging. Any student found engaging in such acts will face appropriate disciplinary measures in accordance with the College regulations.
Prompt Payment of School Fees
Parents and guardians are advised to ensure the prompt payment of all approved school fees and charges.
Payments should be made only through the approved payment channels. Parents should not give cash or transfer money to any teacher or member of staff for the payment of school fees on their behalf.
Students who have not completed the required fee payment and clearance procedures will not be admitted into the College at the beginning of each term.
Mobile Phones
Mobile phones and other unauthorised communication devices are strictly prohibited within the College.
Any phone found in the possession of a student shall be confiscated, and seized phones will be destroyed in accordance with the College's policy.
Parents are advised not to provide mobile phones to their children while they are in school.
Late Resumption
Management wishes to reiterate that late resumption after holidays will no longer be tolerated. Students are expected to resume on the official resumption date to avoid missing important academic activities and administrative processes.
Appropriate sanctions may be applied to habitual latecomers.
PROHIBITED ITEMS (CONTRABAND)
Students must not bring prohibited items into the College. These include, but are not limited to: alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, tobacco products, or illicit drugs, sharp objects and dangerous weapons, fireworks and explosive materials, matches and cigarette lighters, gambling material, any item capable of disrupting the peace, safety, or discipline of the College.
Such items will be confiscated, and disciplinary action will be taken against offenders.
ESSENTIAL PERSONAL EFFECTS
Parents and guardians are reminded to adequately provide their children and wards with all necessary personal items required for comfortable boarding school life.
These include: Uniforms (2 sets), Daywear (2 sets), Sandals (1 pair), Bathroom Slippers (1 pair), Black Crocs (1 pair), Belt (boys), sleeping mattress of the approved size, plastic bucket and bowl (2 sets each), cupboard or locker accessories where applicable, toiletries and personal hygiene materials, appropriate sportswear, writing materials and other approved learning resources.
Providing these essential items contributes significantly to the comfort, hygiene, and overall wellbeing of students.
